CYRANOSE® HME* IS AN EFFECTIVE AND LASTING RESPONSE TO THE POST-OP EFFECTS OF A LARYNGECTOMY
*The Cyranose® HME improves the everyday well being of the laryngectomy patient. Small, light and comfortable, the Cyranose® HME* simply provides optimum quality of life for all users.**
A laryngectomy induces a major change in the respiratory system : absence of filtration, reheating and humidification. Every season and everywhere, the laryngectomy patient is fully subject to variations in the ambient air: dryness in summer as well as in winter with certain systems of heating, sudden cooling in winter as well as in summer with air-conditioned rooms, pollen in the spring… Since the air inhaled is no longer filtered or heated or humidified by the upper respiratory tract, the respiratory system is particularly exposed: hypersensitivity of the epithelium, pollution and inhalation of particles, increase in the volume of the mucus, dryness and irritation, mucous scabs and plugs. The Cyranose® HME* aims at reducing these disagreements by restoring a system of air-conditioning that compensates for the elimination of the natural system.		Cyranose® is one of the devices that unites the Cyranose® Global System, a global solution for the pulmonary and phonatory rehabilitation of the total laryngectomy patient with or without a voice prosthesis


CYRANOSE® HME* IS MADE UP OF 5 ELEMENTS


1- DOUBLE SIDED ADHESIVE Hypoallergenic, for normal or sensitive skin.	2- BASE In medical silicon. Its diameter ensures easy cleaning of the tracheostoma and the voice prosthesis, where fitted.	2 collar shapes to best fit the morphology of the neck.

3- SECRETION TRAP Double grid with tight mesh made of medical stainless steel. Easy to clean using lukewarm and soapy water or boiling water.	4- FILTER Open-cells polyurethane foam.	5- CASING 100 % medical stainless steel, closed by a springoperated obstruction valve for the voice prosthesis.

The use of medical stainless steel provides exceptional performance to create the condensation and recover heat and humidity.

THE PLUSES OF THE CYRANOSE® HME*

With all of its components, Cyranose® HME* restores an air-processing system that is close to natural breathing :
